Why is Premature Ejaculation a Big Deal

Premature ejaculation is not seen by the medical community as much of anything.  After all, it’s far from fatal, it doesn’t make you sick, and it’s mostly viewed as something too embarrassing to talk about anyway.  But for those suffering from premature ejaculation, it is a big deal.  Premature ejaculation makes it harder to have a sex life that is satisfying for both partners and it causes embarrassment, resentment, fear, and low self esteem.  Premature ejaculation can also be linked to mental and physical health, acting as something of a warning system for when something is amiss.

Premature Ejaculation and Health

Premature ejaculation on its own causes only emotional and mental damage, but nothing physical.  In fact, being able to ship off your sperm as fast as possible is somewhat advantageous in the scheme of reproduction because the act can be done before something jumps the partners.  However, premature ejaculation can also be an indicator of poor health somewhere, usually in the loose muscles in the penis and testicles.  It can also indicate things like a hormonal imbalance and even, on rare occasions, as a side effect of neurosurgery.  It’s also a good indication of poor mental health; usually it means that a man is feeling stress, depression, and anxiety.  If you suspect that your premature ejaculation is due to poor health, it’s important to speak to your doctor and get tested; it could well be something that can be easily managed.

Premature Ejaculation and Relationships

Premature ejaculation also causes friction in otherwise healthy relationships.  The infrequent happening of premature ejaculation is usually nothing to worry about, but when it keeps happening, women and men are both left feeling sexually dissatisfied, resentful, depressed, and wondering where one went wrong.  Sexual dysfunction is one of the leading causes of break ups and divorce in relationships and so premature ejaculation can have a devastating impact on relationships, no matter how loving the couple is otherwise.

Premature Ejaculation Feeding on Itself

Premature Ejaculation feeds on itself; when it begins to happen more frequently, it lowers confidence and thus continues to happen.  It is a loop that has to be forcefully broken out of using things like counselling, medication, and alternative cures.  This is why it’s important to understand more about this sexual problem since it doesn’t lend itself well to neat ‘cure’; there are just things that typically work better than other things.

Premature ejaculation may not be considered all that serious by doctors or the medical research community at large, but for those suffering it and their partners, it’s a very real problem.  Fortunately, there are ways to manage it and it need not be a sexual death sentence.  One of the best ways is an alternative cure known as Gambir Sarawak, which works by delaying the orgasm reflex and thus lengthening the sexual experience exponentially.
