Defining Premature Ejaculation: A Subjective Thing!

Premature ejaculation is a common sexual dysfunction in males under the age of forty.  It is characterized by ejaculating ‘too quickly’. But what is ‘too quickly’?  It is here where many men run into problems.  What is ‘too quickly’?  How often do you have to have ejaculated ‘too quickly’ for it to be a problem?  Although this sexual problem is common, there is still a great deal of misunderstanding around it, leading to a lot of communication problems, a shame spiral and other problems that can inadvertently feed into PE!  Unfortunately, you have to define the problem in order to solve it and this is no different with finding a premature ejaculation treatment.

A Subjective Definition of Premature Ejaculation

One of the biggest things to keep in mind with premature ejaculation and thus finding a premature ejaculation treatment is that the definition is largely subjective and that means you have to be open to communication with your partner about it.  There are two reasons for this:

1) What might be premature for one couple is fine for another; some couples don’t mind doing the deed quickly, others hate it.  It is very important therefore to touch bases with your partner to make sure you are BOTH satisfied with the sex on a regular basis.

2) The media presents a very different image of sex from reality.  Where shows often lampoon men who can only last a few minutes, the reality is that the average time from penetration to ejaculation is eight minutes for men.  Keep in mind that this is only an average; it could be that you last longer or last shorter.

What it boils down to is that what happens between the sheets is between you and your partner and that means that you need your feelings on how long you’re lasting and your partner’s before you start fretting.  It could be that you’re worrying over nothing!  If there is a problem though, you can start looking for a premature ejaculation treatment.

Standards for Defining Premature Ejaculation

If you are desperate to privately find a place where you can at least start to see if you are suffering from this problem or not, there are a few loose parameters.

1) If you ejaculate within a few seconds of penetration or even before penetration, you’ve got a problem.

2) If you are ejaculating too soon 50% or more of the time, then you probably have premature ejaculation

3). If you and/or your partner are dissatisfied with the sex regularly, premature ejaculation may be a culprit.

But even these are pretty loose standards, so if you want to be sure you’ll find the best premature ejaculation treatment, you still have to be open to communication.

It’s Not All You!

You may be relieved to know that the problem may not lie with you alone.  Women take a great deal longer to climax than men do; sometimes as long as half an hour or more!  It takes far more stimulation for women than it does for men and that means that in some cases, the best premature ejaculation treatment is more foreplay.  Clitoral stimulation is very important if you want to bring your partner to climax with you so that neither of you feel slighted in sex and can enjoy it.

Finding a good premature ejaculation treatment means being able to define the problem and that takes some work!  Communication is the key here and if it turns out you need premature ejaculation treatment, consider the benefits of Gambir Sarawak, the all natural oil which delays the orgasm reflex without ruining sensation.  Don’t be plagued by the spectre of premature ejaculation anymore. Define it and treat it!
